Still hunting is by far my favorite way to hunt... for me the rewards of doing it correctly far exceed any other way to hunt.


I took a lil' stroll yesterday .. got out the door late..much later than I wanted but nevertheless I caught this guy slipping into the willows and brush by the river...

I took the picture about 500+ yards away and I knew that if the wind stayed right I may get a closer look...







After a bit of time I slipped through the thick stuff and caught an odd shape about 50 yards outside the brush in the open.. after some careful footsteps in the crunchy snow I poke the camera lens through the branches and caught this.







After time passed a lil' cud shewing and a brief nap. He decided to move back into the brush but a few hundred yards north of me. As he walked off I took this.



I slipped back to the river to just enjoy the morning...

During a "fly by" I was lucky to capture this photo...

Looks like a successful "hunt"
