Wow, that is a cool and cute bird. Cool pictures Paul!
Gotta love the 20D, with the resolution to be able to crop and zoom in like that! Awesome!!!

Thanks!
Paul
It simply amazes me that this thing will take pictures that good. Most of my 35mm shots just plane stunk!! i've been taking more and better pictures since i aquired the 20D. still no luck with the B&W yet though. Still trying. i'll get a good one eventually.

I had some fun with the black and white thing. It's a whole different ball of wax, though. I took this one earlier in the month. The darn thing was probably 600 yards away, and I can still crop to this. (with my Rebel)

Way cool! i can't believe that i waited as long as i did to go digital!

We had some snow up high last night. If it's lingers till tomorow i'm going to give the B & W thing a go again.

Paul
I haven't ventured into the realm of using the filters. It is my understanding that you can program what filter effect you want on the b and w pics (blue, red) for better contrast. Looking forward to your "lessons."

No lesson today i'm afraid. I left the battery charging at home. Got it in the camera now. But the rut's starting to kick in arround here, i might need to put a hold on the photo's until after the rut
