Been using Photobucket, but it seems to get more difficult to upload photos each time I use it. Need something that provides that URL for forum posts.

Me too. Photobucket is goofy.

I've been using Smug Mug for a few years now. They charge for the service but it's dead simple. Just drag and drop to download. Basic plan is $40 a year but it's way easier than photobucket to use and it will work up here on the north slope. Our firewall won't allow photobucket so I had to look for another online photo share site.
Checked out their website. Looks like a 1st class hosting service used by professionals. Good reviews. Going to sign up for trial. Thank you.

I liked Smug Mug but they made something called improvement year or so ago and I just couldn't get it figured out. So went back to Photobucket and don't have a problem one with it.
