Got to shoot them today. 91 gr of h-100 3.900 coal. 3014 fps. These buck wind like magic , should have about 1800 plus ftlb of energy at 1k. These have re invented the 300 RUM! Thank you Berger!
Dang, that's major gas! What length tube?
28" plus brake..was worried i wouldn't have enough bbl. length to reach 3k fps but was pleasantly surprised , no pressure signs whatsoever at 91gr. Seated just barely touching the lands.
Very cool. What a sleek bullet... Jeez.

tic tock tic tock... Hammer Time...
2,143 ft lbs at 1000 yards with my 30 inch barreled 300 RUM and the 230 berger
What twist rate works well with these 230's ?
1-10 or faster
Can't wait for Montana Marine to work something up in the 308 with these.
LOL.....ya know, I did work up a load in the 308 with the Hornady 225gr BTHP. Surprisingly, they flew well at 2500 fps, 1/12 twist.

What velocity are you getting? I stopped at 91gr. , they were grouping really well and called it good.
