Boxes of 1,000 come to 33 cents a piece.

Travis
The 7mm 180s are on sale too.
Thanks Travis, I'll order a grand.
Thanks for the heads up!
Powder Valleys regular price is $360.00 for a 1,000.
AWESOME thanks Travis.

And GFY!
Thanks!
Bless you all my fellow Scenar lovers.

Travis
I can't believe you guys use target bullets.
Can someone tell me what's so special about these bullets? They get a lot of love here, especially for long range, so there has to be some merit... but the bc is nothing to write home about... so what is it?
They shoot great out of every 30 cal I have tried them in with zero load development.

The balance of weight/BC/speed seems to work full UBER for me out to 800yds out of the .308.

Less recoil than the 190 and up types so I can shoot more without applying Vagisil.

That's just why I shoot them. I couldn't even tell you what the BC is.

Travis
I was going to ask what is the real BC? I looked at 3-different sites and saw 3-different BC's.

I have a a bunch of .308 guns, sounds like I need to try them...
The Litz G7 BC is .236 according to my super duper shooting app.

Travis
This was at 800 with the CTR:

This is 350 with a 20mph full value.

[Linked Image]

I shoot them in my Montana too:

350 with a 20mph crosswind again.

[Linked Image]

Have not used them on any real game yet but they kill coyotes dead.

[Linked Image]

I use them in my 03A3 too. They're uber.

This concludes my 155gr promotion.

Clark

I can vouch for the 155's awesomeness.

Where's the dang 6.5/139 Skinners??
6.5mm Scenars are UBERER....

I have used them on deer and hogs.
190# buck @225 broadside shot complete pass thru broke both shoulders.
20+ does @125+ yds all double lung--ran 50-100yds.
Front shot at base of neck-- ran less than 25yds.
High shoulder or neck shots DRT.
Have not lost an animal with the 155.
Too many hogs to count.

Coach
I picked up a thousand. Thanks for the heads up.
They are shipping them with a nice little cooler too.

just ordered another big box.
Tempted to order a box of the 7mm 150 L. Could be a mucho grande thing out of a 7-08...
Well, I guess I'll find out now. Hard to pass up...
Yep. There goes $335........... 'course they don't spoil and don't eat while they're waiting to go.

They are still on sale. I just ordered another 2K and am loading some right now for my daughters new T3 .308. She drew for cow elk this year along with my dad and I, and I am hoping she gets the opportunity to fill the freezer.

EVERY .308 I have run them through loves them.
They're fugkin' awesome.

Travis
I see two there, one is $319, the other is $339.
Which one is it that I should get for that lovely .308 that I happen to own, or its brother? Thanks, here are the two products I see.

L's are supposed to be more UBER'er than the standards.

I've not tried the L's as I have not required additional UBERness.

Travis
The L's are Mexican. "L Scenar" keelt that leetle buck!
I'm too stupid to know how to pronounce the English scenar.
What's the secret recipe in a 308 for the 155 Secnar?
Brass a primer and gunpowder.

Travis
laugh

They ARE the cat's crack!

FWIW, I'm running 47 or 48 of Var-gay in my T3 seated to smooch the lands...
I'm using 45.1 of Varget in my 308 rifles.......plus these junky 155 gr Scenars........

What I'm having the best luck with is:

155 Scenar
45.5gr Varget
Lapua brass (or 46gr if using WW brass)
CCI BR primer

I've found this to shoot very well in any rifle I've tried, never shot them beyond 800yds but to that distance they are as accurate or better than a 168 Amax but you gain a bit of elevation. They seem to hit mild steel as hard as the Amax's at that range but they are tougher on mild steel at 200yds.

[Linked Image]

A mix of Amax's and Scenars at 700yds (the bright copper is a TTSX from a .338 ultra)

I am running 47gr's of Vargay.

Travis
If someone decides 1K is too many I would take some in .308 and 7mm....👍

I've had consistently good results with 44.5 to 45gr R15.

John
Thanks!

I'll split 1,000 with you.
I might buy 1k as well, got a buddy that said he'd want 2-300. I might like 300 as well to play with or a few more.
PM on the way.
Buy 1000 and start shooting them and you'll wish you'd bought more laugh
