Today, 6/30/15 I took some cartridges loaded with IMR7828 pushing Nosler 6.5 ABLR 142 sparked by Fedral 215 Magnum primers. I also fired four with RL50. The four velocities ran 3,337, no reading, 3,380 and 3,468. The last one produced a stiff bolt. RL50's pattern measured 5 7/8" across! These were fired right before I did the 7828. Based on this info I will load H50BMG with 95.0 grains to see if 3,450 fps can produce accuracy.

What caliber is this ringman?

This is a 7RUM necked to 6.5mm with the shoulder pushed back to match a .338 RUM. I want a longer neck to extend barrel life. It holds 109 grains of water to the top of the neck.
