Not something you see often, this started out as a Rem. 721, has a Kreiger 300 RUM barrel, the action is free floating, the scope mounts to a clamshell affair that clamps around the rear of the barrel. The stock has a 3/4" slab of aluminum running the length with wood laminated on both sides. IIRC it weighs 46#, recoil wasn't an issue!

How'd it shoot?
2 shots 3 1/4" apart @600 yds. The owner shoulda showed me how it's done.

I liked it, never used anything similar, really easy to shift the point of aim.
