Have read some over the yeras that they are as good as anything in some loads.

I've never seen em, we have never had a supplier in town anyway, but a BIL can't find Fed 210M and found Wolf and asked me...

Google tells me no LR match from wolf, so I'm going out on a limb to assume that those with good luck using wolf as a "match" primer in 308, use wolf LR, and not the LR mag

I use wolf SR primers in my 5.56 with good luck. Tula primers (I believe) are the same animal.

I've gathered that the Rooskie primers are on the mild side.

If you can get you hands on Wolf (Tula) primers, get them. Both work very well, the LR mag has just a bit more compound and (perhaps) slightly higher pressure. Back off the charge by one grain if you're hesitant.

I bought five thousand years ago when they were cheap. I found they worked better than FGGM in my 308 (Varget) with a single digit ES. Ever since the embargo on russian exports, I've not seen them anywhere. I'm hoping they'll figure out a way around that (via the Czech republic or something) one of these days.

I bought 10,000 three months ago.

I just finished primer testing my 223/Rl15/75g Amax load.

Tested Wolf SR and SRM, CCI 450, Rem 7 1/2, Fed 205M and Win SR.

Wolf SRM tied for highest velocity, and gave me lowest, single digit, SD.

Posed the question regarding Wolf SRM primers a while back in one of the reloading forums.
Varying reports of issues with Wolf primers when used with spherical powders - H335 was mentioned more than once. From my end I've had zero issues with them in the .223 when combined with Benchmark (fine, extruded). I'll shoot 'em until I run out about 4K - from now.

I've used a lot of Wolf primers with only very positive results. The LR give the same velocity ES and SD as Fed210M in the loads I've checked. I haven't found a better SR primer than the SRM Wolf I use in all my AR15 loads, .223 or 6.8 based. I ruined two firing pins running Winchester primers because of pierced primers on mid-range loads. No problems and great accuracy from the Wolf brand. Back before the panic I had the opportunity to get in on a bulk buy for very low prices and picked up 50,000 LR and SRM primers, so I'm set for a while.

The Wolf .22LR target ammo is the exact same as SK, made in Germany. Very good value compared to Eley.

I've had more trouble with Winchester primers than all the other combined.

+1 to that, I'll take Wolf primers over Winchester any day.

I've got a case of 5,000 that crack and pit the bolt face with mid-range 308 loads, but can't get Winchester to respond about them. Had the same issue with LP primers a few years ago but they were quick to correct the issue that time.

A few years back I tried them and really liked them. Doing some other checking around learned that David Tubb ordered a truckload. I think that a truckload was probably hyperbole, but I could see him ordering a pallet load.

Anyway, my loads seemed a bit better using them.

The wolf SRM primers have provided very good performance for me. I have used most all Small rifle primers, and the wolf have come out best in my loads followed by the Remington 71/2.
