Anyone have experience with this bullet vs the "regular" Scenar? I'm looking specifically at the 136gr 6.5mm and how it stacks up with the 139gr. I'll be using in a 260 Remington. I've already read the blurb on Lapua's site regarding the tightening up of their manufacturing process, but have yet to hear any real world experiences with the revamped bullet. I have a decent load with the 139 grainer, just wondering what the SnarL will change for me...

To add - don't know if their numbers are accurate, but Midway lists the BC for the 139gr Scenar at .578 and the ScenarL at .545. Doesn't seem like a better "redesign", unless the loss in BC is due to the loss of the 3 grains of weight. I've no clue as to how much of an effect that weight difference would engender.

I'm in the same boat. I have my 260 shooting the 139's really well and have some 136's sitting As good as the 139's were with little to no trouble I've just stuck with them

I used the 136 on a WY antelope. Sample of one, out of my 6.5 SAUM. At 235 yards it went through the shoulders and kept going. They are more accurate than the 130 VLD at this point, but I've got a lot of each to keep shooting....

Well, I bought a bunch back when Midway had them on sale. As soon as my limited stash of 139s are gone, I'll give these a workup.
