I was wandering if there might be some reading material on long range tactical shooting and also on putting together a long range weapon in a factory cal.
<br>Let's say out to 500 yards that I might read and gain some further information on this subject. I would be deer hunting with this rifle

Check out Precision Shooting Magazine. They have some fine articles and also have books for sale that deal with that subject. Good stuff!

Varmint hunters and benchrest shooters have a wealth of information. Precission Shooting and The Varmint Hunter are good sorces.

The best I've read is mike Lau's book, The Military and Police Sniper. Lots of good stuff, particularly reading wind. E

Try to get a copy of "Precision Shooting at 1000yds" or Steve Hanson's book, "A Varmint Hunter's Odyessy". Both are excellent reference books for LR hunting/target shooting. As E said, Mike Lau's book is good, too.
