All set up for the 6.5GT.
Had the smith make the die for the trimmer .
The reamer has done the chamber in the barrel.
The straight line seater die.
And the die for the trimmer.
These trimmers are also handy if your thinking about trimming your meplats..

The Giraud is the absolute largest time-saver at the bench. It turned a dreadful job of trimming, chamfering and deburring to a fast task.

There are a few things I wish it had but it's still a great product. Having a micrometer shell holder would allow for quicker settings for trimming. The Forster .001 marked die rings helps with this as does a sharpie.

Agreed.
Worth every penny.
I did try one of these for awhile.
This one is the wrong size . But I know they make them for regular reloading dies.

PMA makes good stuff.
I tried one of these on my trimmer.
Seems like over kill. But works.
I went back to skips machine shims.
Once you have it .. you just keep the shims with it and buy more when needed.
Saves a boat load of time .
I have two of them.

A Giraud trimmer is on my acquisition list. You rarely see them for sale used, which is telling.

I use one of his annealers and it has been pretty foolproof for me.

I never thought of using the Forster marked die rings. Now I am - thanks for the suggestion.[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

Ngrumba,
See your running the AMP annealer.
Nice.
I'm still using the bench source. Gas.
The AMP is on the list.

I really like the AMP annealer. Works very well and fast. My 3 favorite reloading tools are the Giraud, the AMP and my Area 419 zero press. Makes it very easy to have consistently accurate loads.[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]
