I have a 6.5-284 he build and think its great. He is extremely well respected and a very nice guy to talk to. Even from what I see now(a lot on benchrestcentral), to use a phrase coined by I think EF Hutton it seems when Dave talks people listen.
You would be hard pressed to find a better, more experienced, honest, and more talented builder. BradB is correct, he is respected by his peers.

Dave Tooley is a down to earth guy. I've had dealings with him and have been very pleased. Plus he is very talented and his modesty keeps him from being named when knowledgable builders are listed.
