Need some help with a suggestion of who can do a good job of providing and installing a barrel band so I can put the front swivel for a sling a little further out. The way it is now it bangs my left hand more ofter than not.....and any ideal of what it might cost?

A correct sized band and some acraglas

If it has an integral front sight ramp it could be a problem. I normally solder them on before the front ramp. A Talley or similar one can be installed for about $75 to $95. Barrel refinish can cost extra.
