Pretty much standard stuff, other than ebony plugged crossbolts, I'm pleased at how the ebony inletting into the foreend came out, sort of trying to match the visual of a rear flush mount and barrel band sling mount making for a missing front flush mount, if that makes sense.

Very nice looking rifle!
Am I correct that the 416 Taylor is basically a necked up 338 Win Mag or sized down 458?

Not sure, not my metal, someone elses, but I think necked down 458

Either or . . .

I prefer 458 Winny to form my 375 T, but the reality is I use 338 Winny as it's more readily available and cheaper. Lots of range pick-up 338 cases here in AK.
