What caliber? Which black is that? That gives me a good idea of how mine would look in black. Base color for the McSwirly is Forest Green, so it'll be similar to your color.

Just got off the phone with CAS and will be mailing him my Rem 700 (257 Roy) tomorrow to get it Cerakoted, thanks for the tip guys.

I am going Graphite Black on all metal and then it will be put in an olive Mc Edge when it comes in

Cool combo. Should be similar to Rugernut's package above and I like it a bunch. He's gonna get my 264WM when Redneck gets it ready in a couple months. It'll probably be titanium or stainless darkened a touch, maybe a black bolt and/or shroud, and it'll be in McSwirly, 50 forest green/30 white/20 lgt gray. I also talked to Charley about doing my Citori as I've pretty well worn all the finish off the barrels and a lot off the reciever. He'll be getting it sometime this summer.

Cass did this one too. He is a nice guy.

I like the contract on that Kampfeld. Thinking of something similar on mine, but just doing the bolt and shroud in black, not the other parts. Little more subdued than yours maybe.

If you're talking about the rings like on Kenaiking's rifle, those are Talley ltwt's. I believe them to be the best (and lightest) rings/bases you can buy.

Thought I would contribute a couple old pics to the thread, most of these are probably on here somewhere else already. The stocks and metal are all cerakote "H" series.

I've done a ton of more cool stuff but, anymore I find less and less time for pics. I'll try and get some more new stuff up here soon.

30-06. Color is Graphite Black.

That's my Black and Stainless stock. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Looks better in person. Eddie will be getting my next rifle as well. Best customer service I have had in a long time! I actually have 2 that will need it. I'll try and post some pics of the complete rifle.

Well CAS just sent me an invoice, and my Rem 700 is done. Cant wait to get it back!

Finished product is Graphite Black metal and Talleys in an Olive McM, with a Kahles CL 3-10x50, all this for the 257 Roy....

Karl is Karl Feldkamp of Kampfeld Customs - a heck of a gunsmith and a great guy to deal with, builds some nice stuff.

Eddie is Eddie Fosnaugh of Fosnaugh Customs, does fantastic stock painting, bedding work and Cerakote work. Another good guy to work with.
