Looking to get a custom knob on my 700 BDL but I'm a little worried about clearance with the scope I've got. Wondering if somebody that has a campfire knob could take the time to measure the length and width?

Thanks in advance,
Mike
I have 2 - if you mean like the ones Karl at Kampfeld installs.

I have one on a LVSF .223 - I just sold it but is was fine for clearance. I have another one on my 7mm-08. On the 7mm-08 I have a Leupold Mark 2 scope mounted in DD low Leupold ring/bases.

And really I would say you have better clearance since it is slightly longer than factory. It also is much more comfortable to use - at least for me. If your going to have Karl do it he does a great job - you will like it.
I agree with Muley's comments - the campfire knob lengthens the handle and improves clearance. You will be better off with it than you are now.
I got Karls Hunter knob, I know its not too much different than the Campfire knob and it has plenty of clearance and its sporting a 4.5x14x50 Mark 4 Leupold
No worries........... the attributes have already been mentioned!
