I wanted to give an update with one of my rifles and some thanks for people who helped me here on the campfire.
As many of you may know I have a Borden Alpine Mag 300 WSM. I have loved the rifle in every way since getting it except one. It had been giving me fits with feeding. In a nutshell there was a problem somewhere with the magazine box, follower, and spring.
Steve, aka greenbrier, gave me a call regarding the same issues he had with his and proceeded to tell me what Karl Kampfeld did to fix his. So I called Karl to confirm and get any pointers that he may have for me in doing so.
So, what was the fix? A simple Rem700 LA spring and Ruger SA follower. The rifle now seems to be feeding like a champ. That $25 has brought a huge sigh of relief.
