I got my hands on some 250gr Elite Hunters, and per Berger's instructions, loaded rounds at -.010, -.050, -.090, and -.130. I started with 93gr of N570, and the results speak for themselves... she's gonna be a jump hater with these bullets. My first 3 went into a cute little 1/2" group and then proceeded to stink it up, forthwith.

I would venture to say a 250 Elite Hunter would thoroughly knock the wet off of most critters.

Necessity is a very subjective concept (kind of like sanity....). Great shooter you've got there!
