Looking for some ideas on some builds post yours up
two in the safe: top one is Lilja barreled with Badger M5 bottom metal, bottom is Brux barreled ADL pattern.

one from the past: Krieger barreled

and not shown is a Winchester Laredo with a Lilja barrel in .264

6.5-06, assuming 264 is the caliber and not the cartridge. Hunters edge stock, #2 hart 8 twist at 24", birdsong black t coating. Shoots 140 vlds and 160 woodlieghs very well. 7 pounds and maybe 2 ounces scoped. Would think a 264 wm would perform with same platform though.
Kurt, I might have missed it before, so will ask who did you have build that? Nice!
Thanks! Had Dan Dowling in Palisade, CO put that one together for me. It's been a great rig for me and the one that tends to go on the most hunts.
Bone stock (except for the jewel) Rem 700 CDL fluted 264 dumped into a Manners EH-3 with BDL mini-chassis. The load work was done with the wood CDL stock and a schitty 4+ lb X-Mark trigger that has since found the trash can. Lol.

You REALLY need to do something bout that guy that did that load work up. Looks like that third shot is sluffed....grin....
Down right horrible picture, but is a 264. Rem trued, etc. Mickey MR 50/50 Black, Orange, Timney trigger, PAC Nor 8 twist #3 with flutes finished at 26".

[Linked Image]
Hey ! I recognize that rifle Josh
Fiqured you would! You're bound to have some pictures with it beside some dead critters???
[Linked Image]

It does have a Timney trigger and a custom knot in the sling.
Will have to post a pic this evening after work.

Mine is a Winchester M70 sitting in McMillan Supergrade Edge. Williams bottom metal, PacNor #2, Talley LWs, Leupy FX-III 6x42. Barrel was left stainless, remaining metal work is Cerakote Graphite Black. Stock is granite finished, grey base with black and tan specs.
My two:

.260 Rem (GAP Non-typical)

[Linked Image]

6.5 SAUM (GAP Extreme Hunter)

[Linked Image]
This years coyote gun 6.5x58R Sauer under a pair of 16ga barrels.

[Linked Image]

Not quite a true .264 but a true .260, I size .264's to fit.
GAP NonTypical in 260

[Linked Image]
I like the gap camo on the stocks

These are my "syblings." The one on the left is the .264WM I described earlier. One on the right is a M70 action as well, 20" Douglass chambered in 6.5x55, sitting in a McMillan Compact Edge with Williams bottom metal. Talley LWs and a VX-III 2.5-8x36 currently top it off. It will go for Cerakote in the spring. Stock is painted olive base with black and tan specks.

Damn, I need to get a new top on that bench.

This is the one I cobbled up with a tight budget.

Mid 90's Win 70 classic in 264, I stoned and adjusted the factory trigger to about 3 #.

Midway laminate after my son got the original walnut tangled up between his 4H pony and a tree on his first cow elk hunt at 12 years of age. Butt stock shortened, barrel floated, action bedded, and Pachmeyer decelerator installed by me, with Harris Bipod.

27 inch Pac-Nor Super Match bead blasted, chambered, and fitted by them.

6-20x44 Viper in Burris 30 mm signature rings with plastic inserts selected for 20MOA down angle.

I shoot the 130 AB at 3300 fps MV.
Rem 700 LA blued (300 RUM donor)
McMillan M40A1/HTG Stock in Forest Camo
31" fluted 8 twist 5R Bartlein Light Palma contour barrel, brake machined into extra inch (pic with this barrel)
27" fluted 8.5 twist Brux Rem Varmint contour barrel, brake machined into extra inch of bbl (loads developed in this barrel)
Jewell trigger
Sightron SIII 6-24x50mm LRMOA2 scope
Nightforce 40 MOA base & Nightforce Ultra Lite 30mm scope rings

Chambered in my wildcat 6.5 Prometheus ....

160 gr Matrix VLD (WS2 coated) bullets, 100 gr US869 3500 FPS
velocity ave. 40 rounds via Magnetospeed chronograph

due to a customers demands ... errrr .... repeated requests ... I have sent my personal proprietary reamer and gauge to GA Precision and authorized them to build rifles on my 6.5 Prometheus wildcat .... order yours today .......

6.5-06, Rem 700.

B&C Alaskan stock
Talley's with Leupy M8 6x42 target turret

I'm going to start out by saying that at 14.5 lbs it's not what most would consider a "hunting rifle". However it has been known to take a poke at a critter, so for the sake of showing something different and because I like to show off my toys, here is my 6.5 Super LR:

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

Badger Ordnance M2013 short action in Cerakote FDE and Patriot Brown
Bartlein gain twist(8.75"-8" twist) Whitley Palma barrel chambered in 6.5 SuperLR
XLR Carbon chassis
CG Xtreme trigger
Premier 5-25x56 in a Spuhr mount
SAS Reaper suppressor

Built by Short Action Customs, camo paint by Custom Gun Works.

Originally built it as a tactical competition rifle but have worked weekends for the past year so haven't made it to a single match.

What I give up in weight I feel I gain in confidence in connecting with my target, just don't try to shoot standing without a support! smile
