I am wanting to know the paint color difference between McMillan's gray paint and the gray color of the factory Remington KS stock. Does anyone have one of each and could post pictures or describe the difference between the two? I called McMillan and was told Remington had their own gray (paint) that was used on their KS stocks. If ordering a new McMillan KS stock in gray paint, McMillan will use their standard gray which is different from the Remington KS gray. Thanks.

Sorry, but this is just wrong. In the 12 or 15 years we made the KS stocks for Remington we just painted them our standard gray color. Before us the KS stock were made by Brown Precision and the gray was just a bit darker.

Thanks for the information. I actually called your company again today and spoke to a lady about the KS stock. The lady today said that you've always painted the KS stocks with the same gray paint just as you have stated. I posted the question earlier today because a different lady at your company last week told me there was a difference in the paint used.
