Hello:

Welcome to our custom stock painting page.

We use only the best chemical coatings for our customers' stocks -- the exact same industrial products used by most major rifle manufacturers, McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, and the large majority of custom rifle builders. We paint all types of synthetic stocks, including (including McMillan, Brown, Bansner, High-Tech, MPI, Lone WOlf, HS Precision, etc., etc.), black factory injection-molded stocks, as well as factory wood stocks. They all come out great!

Webbing in the color of your choice (black, silver, or white) is included in the price, and of course, we can omit the webbing if you prefer a solid color:

Cost is $100 including return shipping, and turnaround is a couple of weeks. Please just PM me if you have any questions!

And for kicks, here's the above olive stock (Rem Mountain Hunter Kevlar Special) with a factory Ti in .270 dropped in. She better shoot, or she's going to wake up as a boy named Roy.

Thanks for the photos Rick.
Those tans really look good.....

lewis
Can we get some more light or a close up of the olive?

TIA,

Mike
Dang nice look'n!!!

I agree with Lewis, I like those tans. Is that instrument tan a cross between olive and tan?

Thanks for the pix
I sent my kid pics of those two tans to choose for the rifle i'm putting together for him. He jumped all over that instrument tan. Still going to wait and see what the coated barreled actions looks like before choosing for sure.
I already have one very much like that black and silver. looks great with a sniper gray action and barrel
I own one in carbide black/silver and three in the precision tan.

I'm a big fan. These paint jobs are very tough, durable, and look great too!

They are about all I'll own now.

Rick,

If there is a specific color I wanted you to paint a stock, and you do not have it. What we the cost be to procure that color? You could then paint other stocks in that color if the customer wanted it.

I have something specific in mind for a rifle project and I am trying to figure all the costs.

Thanks.
I'd have a serious hard time trying to decide what color scheme I'd want. They all look great!
I order one in the Olive Green w/black spider web just like the picture from Doug...looking forward to getting it.
Do you only do webbing or do you do 'speckles' for lack of a better term?
Rick, I would like to order a stock from you. How do I do it?
Wolf:

PM coming.
Rick

do you have one for a Montana Short action??
Speedy:

Not in stock. Gotta order it. Want me to?

Rick
Send me a PM
Rick,
I already have one of your paint jobs with another ordered and in process. I just wanted to mention that I like them better than the McSwirley molded-in finishes. The reason is stocks with the the molded finishes will still reflect light when the angle is right. And your paint is non reflective from any angle.
Rick PM sent.
Rick--got three for you, preferably ito go solid McMillan olive w/o black web. PM sent. Please post yer shipping address.

Rick,

Got one for a Mod 70 7-08?

Mac
Rick pointer and c roy asked 2 question I have been wondering about as well. Could you let us know? Thanks
Hi Guys:

I can do a type of speckles by spraying droplets over a base color. Imagine the raised texture finish on theses stocks done in a different color.

Different colors are not practical at the monet. I'm 500 miles away from my supplier, and I cannot acquire the stuff in any way other than driving there.

Don't ask why. Trust me. I gotta drive 500 miles to get it.

Can you say Prop. 65????

Rick,
Do you have a photo of one you did in the "speckled" version you can post?

Thanks.
Rick, would like to get info on how to order a stock from you.

How does the paint hold up to tough hunting? Just curious, i would love that olive green with black webbing for a Savage 110, do they make em?
Rick,
Just received my stock, and fitted it to the gun. What a difference! You did a fantastic job, and in only 2 weeks!!! I'm impressed. The next custom stock I run across, I'll think of you first!
Thanks

Rick;

Got a pic of one (you, or anyone else) in Olive with black and silver webbing?
Posted By: SKane Re: McMillan Colors, New and Old - 08/08/07

Just had Rick paint one of my stocks. FAST turnaround. And the finish is so hard I reckon a cat couldn't scratch it.

Thanks Rick!
I want to spray paint mu own stocks. I do NOT want to use spray cans. Please tell me the correct spray guns to use and what ever other equipment is needed.

They all look sporty! cool

Rick, how about covering the underlying color. If I have a black stock, will that limit color choices? International orange, anyone?
Rick;
I have a Weatherby plastic that I would like to have in the carbide black with the silver webbing. How much - how soon?

Here's one Rick did using two color webbing, his idea, his colors after I told him what action it was going on. I can't tell you all the compliments I've received on this combination.
