Thinking of having my rifle coated and I can't decide which color cerakote. I am currently torn between armor black and tungsten. If you have a cerakoted rifle or pistol I would like to see it. There are to many good options!

What color is the stock on your rifle?
Posted By: Reloder28 Re: Let's see your cerakote! - 10/06/15
I plan to have my stock coated in Hunter Safety Orange & then Tiger Stripe it.

Here's my 338 Federal Redneck put together. Tungsten Cerekote w/ grey Leupold VX-7, fairly close color match.

I'm a graphite black kind of guy.

Nice. My stock is a painted black edge.
I tend to paint anything I hunt with. The pistol was painted because the original finish decided to rust.

Either of those would be a fine choice with the black stock.
It really depends if you want some contrast or not.

Are you having Nathan Chesney do the coating? He coated one for me recently with a bit more hardener for a soft sheen. It turned out great.
Sending the parts to long rifles inc in a couple days. Let's see some more.
Graphite black is tough to beat
Sniper Grey but mine's a shotgun and wasn't invited laugh

Mike
I guess I could checkout a shotgun;) that is another color I was thinking about.

Ok, not black or grey, but the stock is in Forest Green and the barrel and action is in Gold.

Another of my favorites! This one is painter's tape blue - it's a custom blend. whistle

That sniper gray is real nice. I have filled out the paperwork and it is going to be armor black.

A buddy has the armor black and it seems to show a lot more " marks" than the graphite black. It is very flat.

Another vote for the Graphite Black.

Man that is a very close copy to the color of the original KS Stocks from Remington's Custom Shop. Well done

Burnt Bronze

I love that burnt bronze. I'm planning a 6x47L varmint weight rifle with burnt bronze. It's about as pimp as I'll go......with rifles anyway.

RD,

That is a dark McWoody with red pad.

Bartlein GAP #7 contour. Similar to the Bartlein M24/M40, but with a 4" shank.

Too bad you couldn't find a decent piece of wood for that 17-204 grin

Nicely done!
Graphite Black on the metal on this one.

[Linked Image]

Graphite Balck on the stock on this (a little extra hardener added to get a little more sheen)

Midnight Purple, which i've recently discovered from Charley Santoni of CS Sports, who finished my Pre 64 in 9.3x62, seen here, is no longer available....darn it, because I wanted to use it again for a 6.5x57BR i'm having built.
