Looking at maybe building one. 8 twist 24-26" barrel. Any thoughts on this round. Already have a .243, thinking this would be fun to try with some high BC 6 mm bullets. Maybe a occasional antelope or deer.

I have a custom 6mm Creedmoor built by Horizon Firearms and its a fun gun to shoot with no recoil. Running 105 Berger Hybrids at 3150fps it gets to 1000 yards pretty quick. Brass is made by Hornady and available from GAP.

Hornady is now selling brass directly as well.

I run one in my competition gun and like it a lot. I plan on taking it hunting a bit this year just to try it out.

Just had one built for a long range coyote rifle. So far I like it. Haven't gotten to take it out for coyotes but did shoot a deer with it the other day with a 105 grain Berger.
