The Year is winding down, let's hear about and see some photos of guns you've had built or purchased in 2015. I'll post a few of mine tomorrow.

Pre 64 M70 action, Krieger #1 10 twist chambered 270 Winchester, and Brown PoundR came together in time to hunt it in Maine and Kansas.

A M70 Classic action with Borden RR stock and #2 Brux in 7 Rem Mag turned out pretty nice. Williams extractor. Had a little problem with a 6x42 Leupold but a 6X SS fixed that and the rifle is shooting very well to 600 yards with 162 Amax and 150 BT's.

A Rem 700 SA in 6.5 Creedmoor with Benchmark SS fluted barrel and Echols Shrike was supposed to be done in September, but got pushed out until January.

Nice stuff.. Don't think I bought a rifle this year.. Had a 700 barreled up in .300 Savage, but I already had that rifle.. Did buy a couple Glocks .45 and 9mm, and a S & W revolver in .45 Apc.. I think that is all.. Need to remedy that next year..

Just after Christmas last year my wife (read: CFO) gave the go ahead for a new trap shotgun to accompany my new hobby. Landed this Browning Citori XT Grade I.
[Linked Image]
Not entirely new, but shipped off a CZ 375H&H to AHR for their upgrade 2. Very happy with the results, contemplating sending a 458 Lott to them for the same in the near future.

[Linked Image]

Have a Smith and Wesson 67 on order at the LGS now, should be in this week. Hoping to get the wife into shooting more this year and I figured some 148 wadcutters over 2.7g of Bullseye will make for some pleasant shooting for her.

Now to start planning 2016....

At least you don't need the blue pill for that kinda wood. I honestly don't know how some of you guys keep up with piles of rigs like that.

Buy low, sell high, collect early, pay late and get old slowly!.

geedubya; I had an early NEF 12 gauge "rifle", with a lighter barrel and open sights (comb was too high to use the sights). Killed a few critters with it. Very hefty recoil. I also have the same Robert Service book.

Shrapnel; the 1985 is a very cool rifle.

Thanks to all for posting; some very cool guns. I will need to put pictures of my new rifles soon. Nothing nearly as cool as what has been posted so far.

Bits'er 1970's Rem 700 adl with sps bottom metal, ex s/s target barrel.

Action and full length of barrel bedded in a Manners EH3 with added epoxy for a rounder grip by the magwell.

Redfield Rev-tac sitting on blued steel Burris bridge mount and low rings.

I cut the back of the bolt shroud off for a better indication of cocked/uncocked plus I like the look of those earlier bolts anyway.
Shoots moa with almost any load I put through & half that with her favourites.
She's ugly but accurate rifles start looking better the longer I own them.

Gonna take her Sika hunting in the next couple of days.

Other than cheapo shotgun and a few pistol trades it's been a slow year for me. As a matter of fact the collection is smaller in 2015 than at the end of 2014.

For 2016 I've got a G33/40 build coming up that I'm really excited about though.

Some beautiful rifles on this page. wink

No custom builds, but rifle additions include a Marlin CB 38-55, Kimber Classic Select 257R and Tikka T3 Forest 6.5x55. Handguns added include a couple of LCR's (22 snubbie and 3" 38), 5 shot Bisley 480 and Sig P320 357 Sig. Then there was an older 870 Trap 12 g that found it's way here.

I bought a 1959 Winchester M70 Alaskan 338 WM that I've been pining for forever. I had it stocked into an Echols Legend and scoped with an S&B Zenith 3-12x50. It's shooting 3/4 MOA with 225 TTSX and I have a bunch more stuff to try. This will be my classic elk gun.
