McMillan has this up on their FB page.
The Mountaineer has already been discussed here, and the Game Warden is basically the Game Scout with a wider HTG forend for heavier barrels. The Game Hunter is an interesting-looking pattern, but I've heard no details. Looks like possibly the Game Scout with the Classic-style butt being swapped for the McMillan Hunter butt?
Think I'll have to try that gamehunter on my new stw....
I like the look of the Mountaineer, it looks like they finally figured out people use scopes on rifles nowadays instead of having a comb dropped like a kentucky longrifle.
Guys:
I have a limited number of Mountaineers and Game Scouts (plus Classics, Hunters, and some others), in EDGE, that I am going to sell for about a hundred bones below retail, while they last. These are mainly inlet for Rem 700s.
McMillan charges $636 plus $30 shipping for a total of $666. Bad number.
I like $569 better. Shipped. At these prices, I need a check or MO. No plastic.
As of now, they are inlet for 700 longs and shorts, ADL and BDL, mostly factory sporter barrels, some Mountain Rifle contours mixed in, with a 1-inch Decel at standard 13.5 LOP, and stainless studs.
We might be able to make modifications (custom barrel channels, LOP, studs, etc), for the early orderers up until the point McMillan gets them manufactured, and then they are what they are.
I have asked that they be left raw so you can select your paint before shipping.
That's a sneak peak. I got all I could at these prices. When they are gone they are gone.
PMs work.
Rick
That mountaineer looks nice, does anyone know if it will it be available for a Win 70 Short Action inlet?
Got it. Check your PMs stat.
I called McMillan about the mountaineer they said currently rem 700 and clones only. No m70 right now.
Game warden is a good looking stock, any idea on weight?

Exactly. Thats been my gripe for years.
Rick, any word on when the new patterns and paint schemes will be available on the outfitter gear shop? Thanks
