Just giving a shout out to mudder700. He repainted my Remington 700 ks stock and all I can say is WOW! Thanks for doing such a great job Kurt. Here it is put together on my Kevin Weaver 375-06.
Nice paint job, and nice build overall.
That looks great! How's the recoil on that big bore?
Recoil is stout with my best handload. It is a nosler 260 grain accubond loaded to 2600 fps. The rifle only weighs a little over 7 1/2 pounds loaded and ready to go. I would say no more than a good 300 winchested load in felt recoil.
Fine looking rifle. Interesting chambering too.
Here is a pic of my 375-06 260 load next to a 165 30-06.
I'm betting that one feeds like a Crisco-dipped sausage.
Very nice rifle, caliber and paint!
A buddy of mine has a couple of Kevin Weaver's rifles and loves them.

Sure looks like Kevin has things figured out. Heard he is a great gunsmith. Congrats on a beautiful build.
That 375, looks kinda nice.
I never thought about the .375 when I was having thoughts-- .338 or .35 caliber for an 06 case. I went with .338-06 it works great, I'm happy with it.
Again, that's a nice looking rifle.
thanks for the shout out, it was a pleasure painting your stock and I told you I just loved the color combo...Great looking gun...Mudder-AKA Kurt
Believe it or not I have transitioned over the last 25 years. First was a 338-06 in the early 90's. Then a 35 Whelan in the 2000's and now a 375-06 since 2013. Liked them all and they work well on all north American game.
