Anybody gotten their hands on one? Looking like their hunting stock is 2.6# in a LA. Wondering if any SA are in the works too?

Just saw that they are offering a SA!

40 ounces for a hunting stock sounds pretty heavy to me. My Winlite only weighs around 27 ounces and is a pretty good stock.

Seems heavy to me also. An Edge fill McMillan weighs something like 23 or 24 oz, or 1.5 lbs. The Brown Pounder even lighter.

I don't have a rifle that recoils more than an Edge stock can handle. Some do, of course, and those stocks are heavier.

And hell, someone might want a heavier stock for stability or whatever. Cool with me, I just happen to like the Edge fill stocks.

The Renegade, their A5 copy, looks interesting. Especially where a little extra weight isn't a concern.

My Renegade came in this week. It is painted with a pad & studs. Fit & finish is comparable to a drop-in custom McMillan. I haven't put it on the scale yet but it's not a featherweight, wasn't looking for one on this rifle.

I can't tell by looking at their website, but I assume there is no aluminum chassis involved. Are there aluminum pillars?
