I'm looking at them to build a custom Ultralight rifle . Has any one had any experiences with these folks?
Rifles looks really nice, .5 " guarantee 3-shot.
I need a shorter LOP than "stock"
Contact Pete Pieper in Hempstead. precisionbarrelwork.com
I've known Pete for over 20yrs. He has the latest in machine tools and builds beautiful rifles.
Good luck getting MG Arms to respond to any communication.
I forgot, Pete has a 200yd target that I shot in a match in Houston in 1996.

I sold that rifle to a friend of Pete's-Mark Wheatley
Don't forget Charlie Sisk, or Bobby Pitchford in Hempstead.
Just hope when the coating wears off you don't see a Remington proof stamp on your custom barrel!
I know the people at MG Arms. They have been around for about 30 years and have a great reputation for building custom guns and doing excellent gunsmithing work. I took my Ruger Blackhawk to them to have it made into one of their Dragonslayers in 454 Casull. I love it!
You should give MG Arms a try. They have always done a good job for me.
Some people have had bad experiences with them but some people have had bad experiences with some of the places listed as alternatives.
They can do good work.
Don't overlook the Legendary Arms Professional.
It compares very favorably with the MG Arms rifles.
I got to shoot a 7mm Dakota in an MG Arms and was very impressed.
The LAW's I've handled are really nice and the Basner stock is excellent.
As a satisfied custom stock customer I would say MG Arms has its strengths & demerits. I have seen some really fine work come out of their shop. The price on their stocks is tough to beat. Their accuracy guarantee is dependable.
I have replaced several McMillan stocks with MG Arms customs.
