Looking for options for an CLR action (ULA28) with a magnum bolt face.

Ideally, it would take advantage of the action and magazine length.

Yup 26,28,30 nosler all work with a magnum bolt.

The Noslers seem like a lot of recoil and blast for a light rifle.

Short mags, saum's..

7mm RUM, .300 RUM, .375 RUM

So you have a magnum action that you want to use, but don't want something that recoils or has muzzle blast?

Can you bush the bolt down to a standard .473 bolt face?

The ULA/CLR/NULA has a very well designed stock for recoil attenuation. No point over-compensating with a Short action cart that won't fit/feed in that beauty.

I'd go with a 7mm LRM or one of the other 375 ruger wildcats. I don't like the rebated rims of the RUM, Nosler, or WSM rounds.
