Like the new manners hunting stocks - been thinking EH-6 or EH-8.

Got two builds pending - a .308 and a .260 rem. M70 Action, Bartlein 2 or 2b at 20 or 22".

Thoughts?

Of their stocks, those 2 have the most appeal to me.

If your gonna do a 20" barrel go eh8. If you go 22" barrel go eh6.
Eh6 has a longer forearm.

Heard manners will send them out to handle - anyone done that?

I have not but they have offered to. They take a CC # and pay shipping to you and you pay shipping back. Not a bad deal.

Bartlein 2b really fills up the barrel channel of the EH8.

Have you talked to Manners about a M70 inlet? The lady I spoke to when I called said they didn't inlet those stocks for a M70. Hoping she was wrong...

I had heard they would inlet for m70, but that was a while ago, hope that's an option.

They do M70's... make sure you talk to the right person over there.

I would recommend sending your action to them for inletting. The m70 tang has changed minor shapes and depths a few times. My brother had one inletted and it wasn't exactly right. We fixed it but manners was willing to inlet it to fit if we wanted to send in the action.

I contacted Tom and I'm ordering a EH8 for a new build and I'm using a #3 hart barrel. It's a little smaller in diameter than the 2b. Kimber7man made my decision with his post from a month or so ago. M700 action 7-08. Painted Black Forest (I think it's called).

What did they tell you for delivery time?

I just ordered a eh6 close to a month ago and was told 4-5 months.
