I picked up this stock last week, seems to be fairly well made. Its for a pre 64 model 70. There are the letters FRV under the butt plate and te numbers 611, the numbers are alos o in the barrel channel. Thanks for any insight

Yeah it was tough. I typed 'Rifle stock stamped FRV'

I lived 10 miles from Jaeger's as a kid, FRV did some nice stock work before I was born.....
