Called in 2 gobblers this morning and my buddy and I both killed. His was 19 lbs, 1" spurs and 4 beards with the main beard being 9.5" the others were 6,4 and 3 inches.
Mine was 21 lbs, with 1 inch spurs and a 10 inch beard.
My buddy killed his with a 12 ga and TSS shot and I killed mine with a 20 ga and TSS shot. Both were shot right at 33-35 yards. They were coming closer but caught my buddy moving his gun and they started acting funny so we took them where they were.
For some reason Imgur is not letting me upload the pictures, but I will post them as soon as it let me.
Anyone else having issues with Imgur? Last two times I have tried to upload pictures from my phone, it has failed.
I’ve been waiting on you to smoke some turkey 😃. Great job!
Thanks, this first bird I promised to my neighbor, he was Army Special Forces Ranger and got his leg taken off in Afghanistan. He is a really cool guy and I told him a couple of weeks ago that if the good Lord let me kill one, I would bring it to him.
I hope to go after them again Monday so we will see.
Oh and they are good fried as well.....
This was from last year I think
Finally got the pictures to upload
My buddies 4 bearded bird
Nicely done Pullit. Congrats!
Good job. My son and I did a double many years ago, and it's still one of my favorite turkey hunting adventures.
How cool is that! 4 beards, wow. Couple of big birds and a twofer to boot. 👍👍
WELL DONE !!!!
CONGRATS to you both !!!

Congrats on the birds. I killed one this morning in E TN with a crossbow. Man they were fired up. 21lbs with a 10 1/2 beard, 7/8 spurs. I’ll get pics up in a day or two.
Sounds like a great hunt. Nice job!! Those turkey nuggets look awesome.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats man!!!
Them 2 birds on your other thread get to put another year on em hopefully.
0 for 3 here.
Have heard Tom's all 3 times but nothing showing up.
Matter of time..
Nice job. Opening day here is the 26. Been seeing a few when driving to town.
I know of at least 6 more toms on the farm besides the 4 that we killed. We have tried to limit what we take off this place long before the state cut the bag limits. We have a good idea what is there before the season and try not to over hunt it.
We did get a yote on one of the cameras that we need to address ASAP. We don't need competition for the birds that are there.
Nice birds.. I had about 10 going nuts on opening day here in KY. Never got one to come in. Back at it later in the week for me.
Hey Rene, you hunting FT Campbell or public land?
