Curious if anyone uses their turkey chokes for other game. Maybe #6 or #4 shot for tree top squirrels? Not sure why my Indian Creek choke for my .410 wouldn't also work with lead #4 and #6 for those high-up bushy-tails. I'll have to pattern it with some game loads versus the full choke tube that is in it now.

Been waiting on a trigger repair from TriStar for my 410. Before recall was considering using it to squirrel hunt with. Hadn't really used lead in it but will once I get it back in service.

It might be viable for things you don't eat, or the .410 at longer ranges. No real way to know until I pattern the gun.

Fox and coyotes, mostly. My BPS 10 wears a Comp-N-Choke XXX-Full tube. In as much as it is murderous with 2 oz of #5 or #6 lead......... I found that it is MONSTROUS with the old Winchester XX shells with 2 1/4 oz of copper-plated #2's.

I've also monkeyed around with my turkey tubes in my trap gun.

I guess beavers when I blast them using my turkey gun.

Have used my 23" 870 16ga with Comp-N-Choke XX Full for those tree top squirrels. It also patterns well with #1 Buckshot. Would like to shoot a deer with it, but haven't as of yet.

i use my turkey choke for trap/ clay pigeon meat shoots and when we shoot clay pigeon annies also.

I think the fixed "trap full" on my 1st gen Win 101 34" top single is tighter than my turkey chokes! Lol! Better be spot on at 16 yards, great for handicap shoots though.

I use my Indian creek .555 in my Rem 870 twenty turkey for squirrel and I use Carlsons .565/.570 in my Steven's 555 twenty also for squirrel. Using a more full choke cuts through leaves in the early season and extends my range in the later season. It doesn't tear them up any worse but in my opinion leads to a quicker kill

Only did it by accident, but did kill a limit of squirrels with my 20ga 870 with the Xtra Full Turkey choke in. Didn't seem to tear them up on more, but this was in August, so they were at the tops of the trees and lots of leaves.

I shot a coyote a few years ago with my Hastings .640 and Win. LB XR loads. He didn't move, just dropped.

My turkey gun is more like my duck gun that I use for turkey, when I get drawn.

I use my 20 gauge with low brass on starlings with great success at distance. And I've used the Invector+ turkey tubes from my SX2 and SX3 in my sporting gun to smoke clays.

I was watching a meat eater episode where they were squirrel hunting in really tall tress.. I think a full or extra full or turkey would help you and keep them from going into the nest wounded.

LOL, I hope you are killing a bunch at once. I shoot starlings from my upstairs office window almost every day in the winter. I shoot them with my springer air gun and sometimes with my Red Ryder if they're close. I feel guilty about the cost of a pellet or BB when it comes to starlings.

I used a Kicks gobbling thunder and some old heavy shot turkey loads to pass shoot geese once. I used to use the same gun choke combo to hunt coyote but have since purchased a dedicated choke.

My rig is kind of old school. I shoot #4 lead through a Carlson's Dead Coyote choke. One of the reasons is that the majority of our coyote kills at our Turkey Camp have been targets of opportunity while turkey hunting. #4 lead will do a passable job on a 'yote out to 40 yards.
