My good friend has an 11 yr old daughter that will be turkey hunting this spring. He was asking what kind of shotgun he should get her.

I suggested a 20guage.

But are there youth models she can get several good years out of?

It's a 3 inch mag 21 inch barrel that accepts rem-chokes, has a short buttstock and recoil pad. I still use one to kill turkeys.

Browning youth models come with a certificate for a discount on a full size stock. Or he can go cheaper then flip and upgrade if she stays into hunting.
