Got a Pretty Good One - 04/05/14
I got one this morning. 19lbs 10.5" beard 7/8" spurs in Hickman Co., TN. I used my old Remington 870 Magnum with a Remington turkey choke tube and Remington #5s. I killed it at 36 paces.

My cousin's husband makes these box calls out of walnut and we used one like it to call him in. He killed a 21 pound gobbler with a 9" beard a few seconds after I shot this one.

Very nice.. Tenn.?? I thought Florida led the nation in turkey numbers or were at least in the top states.. But I also understand the fun of going somewhere else to hunt.. Do it all the time..
