Yep. Right after first sound off, three hens flew down into our decoys. Ten minutes later that tom crested the ridge and fanned up. He walked three feet, stuck his head up when I whistled. And i shot him inna face

Me too, I am going to tweek it a bit and add an old Jake fan I have in the garage

That can be a pain in the ass to haul and will look like crap in a hurry.

I opted for sticking 3 tail feathers in the center of the fake fan, just a little higher than the fake. I store them in the fold of the fake fan and in the bag they go. I am always finding feathers, or just pull them from a tail.

Works well when I place a hen in the breeding position a few feet in front of the strutter.
