I just upgraded my Encore Turkey Shotgun with a New Encore Endeavor FlexTech Stock and Jebs Headhunter .655 Choke. I replaced the stock because the new type supposed to cut back on felt recoil, but this is debatable and will find out when i pattern it . I also replaced the factory encore turkey choke with the Jebs Headhunter .655 . I will be using the Winchester Long Beard #5 load if it patterns well. I have other Turkey loads and shotguns but love the Encore because of weight and size. I have high hopes on the Winchester Load this season. Will put it on the pattern board as soon as the snow melts and sun shines again.

The new stock should help due to the Limbsaver-style pad.
I had a Limbsaver on the Old Stock.
In that case, I'm not sure the new stock will reduce your felt recoil much.
I needed another stock anyway
Sweet! Perfect fly-weight rig. Whats the length not including the choke? Keep us posted on patterns...
24 inch's and will post pattern
Mine is easy at the range, but I forgot to pull it tight to the shoulder last spring on a gobbler and got a really fat and sore finger from the trigger guard/barrel release. Watch that with those heavy recoil turkey loads!!

Haven't seen the Jeb's around here. Interested in your patterning results.
I have a similar set up, Encore 3 " 12 ga. The "flex-tech" along with the Limbsaver really does reduce "felt recoil".
I put a Simmons NWTF 1.5-5 scope to get a better view with old eyes.
I also quit using the heavy thumpers in 3" and now shoot "Kent Ultimate Diamond Shot" 2.75 " with 1 5/8 oz of # 5 shot.
The Kents pattern very well in my set up and don't abuse your shoulder at all.
sounds like you have it covered this spring
Hope to see the pattern soon. Mine is ready to roll. I'm using LB 5s also.
Looks great. Hope it patterns well.
Purdy, hope it puts the smackdown on ole Tom
