This year, we were finding turkeys where we hadn't seen them for awhile. They aren't to their former glory of 15 years ago, but we still found some. I tagged two the opener on 2 different spots, we all ended up doing well...

Can you use smokeless powder in that shotgun?

What is that stock made out of?

Looks like a great hunt and beautiful weather.. We're stuck in a snow storm waiting to head north..

What load did you use in that old hammer gun?? A beautiful shotgun.

Another turkey I got last year with it. 2 1/2 inch #6 shot...

I bet that is real enjoy able to take a gobbler with that fine old hammer gun.. Excellent..

I was perusing the June '15 edition of American hunter magazine this morning and when I turned to page 50 and saw a face that I knew I'd seen here on the fire. Came here to the turkey forum and sure enough! Congrats on the bird and *coolest gun*!
