Recently picked up a shorter barreled remington 870 that's drilled for optics and making it my new turkey gun.

I can buy a black remington shurshot thumb hole stock set(black $55, camo $ 65) that has a less drop (2.5" now 2" on SS) and a supercell recoil pad.

These stocks are on several of their new turkey gun models.

Any issues? User experience?

they feel nice in the hand. seem to absorb recoil fairly well
I've never used one, but just ordered two myself for 20ga builds. I'm not a fan of the look, but they seem to function perfectly.
I love the sure shot stocks. I have two guns with them in 12ga. Never tried them on 20s. The comb is high, so they are best with fairly tall open sights or a red dot. I run Burris FFs on mine so they work great.

Good to know on the sights. It has tall XS sights or may get a burris
Buy them, you won't regret it!
