Looks like a pig gun to me.

180 Barnes, don’t remember the load, thinking H4895 powder, maybe 46 grains. Had two lined up, the other took off in the brush.

Way to go. Great rifle and cartridge.

Sat on pipe line, scattered corn out, bastards kept coming out. I got tired of shooting the bastards, was hungry too. Was out of bullets.

That rifle puts bullets damn near through the same hole. Lots of fun to shoot.

Very nice! I've had some 4 or 5 pig hunts where they just kept coming out every couple minutes, but never as many as that.

Wow! What a hunt! I would have ran out of ammo as well. Beautiful rifle in a hammer of a round. Perfect East TX hunting rifle in my opinion.

Baby pigs: assuming a predator doesn’t find them, they can survive without mother at only 3days old!
By day 4 they can root and scrounge food! So they need to be shot with a savage on any day...ha ha

But honestly it’s crazy, like cockroachs!

Blew up a couple more yesterday! Black one about 80 yards, hit red one at 250 yards, have 358 sighted in 3” high at a 100, held inch below top of his back. Still hit him a little low.
