Handled one of these recently and it was missing the front sight. Did some googling and of course this part is none existent, as I expected it would be. What are the odds of finding a sight? Or would it be easier to have one made?

I wonder if a 1911 or a 1911A1 sight might be a starting point; they were staked in.

How many do you need?

I have a number of sights removed from slides. I use composite gunsmith block on anvil, a very light touch of touch of black liquid weld, re-peen the post.
