Many thanks and appreciation to Joe ang Gary to be the masterminds behind this excursion.
Huge thanks to Joe and Jay for doing the lions share of keeping us all well fed. Dave also should get a round of applause for his flawless prime rib and brisket, and 4 jars of various range of heat pickle slices. Weekend consumables were top notch, this will tough act to follow next year.


As usual, had a great weekend with old and new friends. Now we count the days till next years extravaganza.

In case anyone is interested that was a Wyoming Co. black bear that tore up the top of those wooden front supports on the range shack in the pic with Sun, Gary and Kurt. The perp left a bit of black fur behind.

Another Rendezvous in the books. Thanks to Joe for his organizational and logistical skills - he sure knows how to throw a party!

The one shot/cold bore match was a a hoot. I fired an 1899H .22HP, and forgot that when I last fired it to sight in five years ago for hunting I had (naturally) sighted about 2" high. Like an idiot I failed to compensate with my sight picture and the match was for "closest to center wins", not " who's sighted the best for all circumstances when hunting" - and my shot was exactly at 12:00 an inch higher than the winning shot. Oh well, there's always next year!!

Would like to add my thanks to Joe, Jay, et al for doing the heavy lifting to make this happen. What a great event. It was good to see old friends again.

Glad you all had a good turnout, looks like a good time had by all. Would love to attend one of the fests-maybe next year. Any chance of names being posted on the big group picture. Can ID some but not all.
