Are the 99s made here considered more collectible/valuable ?
The question is too general.
A too general answer is no.
All depends on what it is, condition, etc. like anything else.
What are you looking at? Would be helpful.
The Rentzschke engraved Chicopee 99's are very collectable. There were a large number of 99EGs sold. They are really good looking and shoot well. But due to the law of supply and demand, there being a large supply of EGs and not a comparable demand they are relatively low priced. The 99F is a very good rifle also and in my opinion the Chicopee 99Fs are preferable to the Westfield 99Fs.
A 99R in 243 is extremely collectible.
A 99R in 358 is as well.
A 99EG in 243/358 ditto.
99R's and 99EG's in 308 are very popular and definitely collectible, more common tho.
99F's very popular.
Anything in 250-3000 always brings a premium.
300 Savage is.. well.. damned good, but very common.
Okay. Thanks for the responses.
