Gonna need some more info on #'s 2 & 3...
#1 Is an 1899 250-3000 model.
Ser # 30199x...does it have an MP stamp, under the forearm,at the base of the barrel?
Please advise.Thnx,J.
Jed,
It is stamp v/d and is a takedown model lymen sight the other is not a take down and has a lyman sight also both have long barrels everything matches. On the 250 how collectable is this rifle will it be worth anything if i hand it down to my children? All are in excellant shape.
All 99s will be of high value in another 20 years. Oil 'em up, put 'em in the safe, and let your kids fight over 'em.

Minimal return on your money.Stop looking for excuses for your addictions. If you own more than 10-15 you need professional help.Go kill deer with them.Use them what they were made for.If all you do is equate 99's with $,I don;t think their appreciated for what they are,one of the best deer killing machines ever.Great advice ,oil them up and lock them in a safe Ed

Didn't mean to be nasty in any way.I have many Win model 21 shotguns and a few Parkers,Ithaca NID's.I bought most of them many yrs. ago for my love of grouse hunting on my uncles farm in central N.Y.,at a time when you couldn't give a side-by away.Had no idea what they were going to turn into $.But come October they take that stroll thru the apple orchard's with me.Don't wanna make you guy's cringe but I got a brand n.i.b.375 saddlegun that I'm itchin to take in the woods this yr.or maybe take a ride up to the fest with it.Ed
