I bought one of these on EBAY a few weeks ago in 32-40. Can't figure out how to use it to seat primers - does anyone how that might work? THANKS!! P.Womble
Liveoak, I saw you nab that one.

Did the decapping pin come with yours? Mine is missing it's.

I believe that the end of the die is for priming the bullet but I don't know how to do it. Rick has some of these tools, maybe he has an idea. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
There is a good picture and discription in the 1903 catalog. You can buy a reprint of the catalog at Savage99.com.

I still need the .30-30 Savage Reloading Tool. Anyone have a good one for sale?
Hi, You guys know of any place I can get Lyman 310 loading dies in Savage calibers? Or does anybody have any for sale? Thanks and a Happy New year to all here.
Lionel
E-mail Randy Davis at The310Shop@aol.com and ask for a current list of 310 items he has for sale. He will put you on his e-mail listing. He also handles older Ideal tools. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Seating primers. cartridge is et into the top of the tool sideways. Pushing the handle down causes the hook in the end of the handle to move towards the head of the cartridge and seat the pimer.
I have a boxed set complete with instruction sheet.
BillR
BillR,
Can I buy it from ya?
Sorry Jed ... not for sale. I have Savage 1904 set, complete with charge cup, decapping pin and instructions on display along side my boxed set of 1891 Winchester mold/tool in 45-70 and boxed set of 1894 Winchester mold/tool in 38-56. Wife would be most upset if I sold any of my toys.

You are a lucky guy, Bill. Hang onto that gal. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Many women would have the opposite opinion. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />
