Well my mainspring in my 19NRA is weak so I went ahead and ordered one from numrich. Last time I disassembled the bolt, I buggered the hell out of the end of the cocking piece that I have. It is the type with the rounded end with horizontal ribs. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with let me know. I remember seeing a plastic tackle box full of bolt pieces awhile back.

almost. that bolt is for serial numbers below 25,000 I believe. Mine is numbered in the 37,000's and takes a completely different bolt

You might want to watch on Ebay for a Savage 23A bolt with the cocking piece that you need. I believe that one of those would also fit your rifle.
