I have a ladder sight here which I have been trying to identify. I have been told it may be a "21B" from a Savage M1899 musket? I would like to know for sure and also some idea of value and rarity.

It's a rear sight off a Montreal Home Guard 1899.

One was on Ebay a couple weeks ago at $300 but didn't even get one bid at that price so I'd take it down from that.
