I acquired a 50th anniversary 1895 .308 cal savage from my father. I have worked on many gun but, during disassembly of this gun I took the carrier out. I have been looking for the reassembly details for this online. Every place I go say to take it to a gunsmith that it is very hard to setup. Can anyone help with the reassembly of the carrier or point me in the right direction. I want to be sure of what I am doing as this gun is amazing and I would not want to damage it in any way.
