I have a pair of Model 24 DL's I would like value info on. One is .22 mag over .20 gauge and the other is a .22 mag over a .410. Beautiful guns with the gold triggers and engraving on each side.

Keep your eye on what they're selling for on Gunbroker.

The 22 Mag should bring a premium over the regular 22 L.R. though.

Greg, Welcome to the forum and we would hope that you are a frequent visitor and contributor.

I first assumed you are talking about the earlier DLs that have the satin chrome receivers. Right? In '68 or so Savage started making 24 DL's with blued receivers - but still had the roll marks with the scenes. After this they were called 24D's, then had separated barrels and the trend kept spiraling downward (IMO).

Mad dog has the best advice on checking current price trends- See what they have been selling for. Make sure you are checking the sales prices for 24's with the same configuration and vintage. Also, your 22WMR/.410 should have a premium added. You don't see many of those. Lastly, if you're going to sell them, make sure you have clear, focused pics. Last lastly, pls give the forum members here a heads-up when/if you list them.

My early (1960) DL, with .22WRM over the AWESOME .410 3" "Magnumb," is the most accurate of my many .22 WRMs. And the "Magnumb" doesn't shake the scope loose, either!
