Hey Guys,
Just purchased a Savage 99 .300 cal with Redfield peep sight and I want to remove it but don't know how to remove the most forward tang screw. The rear tang screw is accessible but not the front screw. I don't want to damage this peep sight doing something wrong. Any and all help will be appreciate.

You have to remove the horizontal arm on the sight. Look for a push button, press and pull up the arm. Or it may have a screw.

You'll have to unscrew the vertical adjusting screw it looks like.
